Sharing multiple work sessions on a research project among distant
users requires more than a simple network meeting system. The Avizo XTeam pack is a powerful extension of Avizo XScreen, which allows
multiple users to fully collaborate simultaneously on a shared
project.
Much more than a simple remote desktop facility, Avizo XTeam
lets different users synchronize and share their respective local
sessions. Each user can alternately become the operator and
manipulate the model, while the others act as spectators.
Each collaborator
is represented in the 3D view by a 3D avatar, which appears in the virtual space. The collaborator can use a magic wand as
a virtual pointer device to point to any area of interest during the
collaborative session.
Avizo XTeam is available from desktop to VR/Cluster configurations.
